Shaer Atelier Data Retention Schedule

Purpose of Data Retention:

Shaer Atelier retains personal data in order to provide services, maintain client relationships, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

• Mobile Number

• Date of Birth

• Card Details (only if clients choose to leave a card on file)

Retention Period:

• Personal data is retained for 7 years from the date of last interaction or transaction, whichever is later, in line with the UK’s HMRC requirements for record-keeping.

• After 7 years, all personal data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Reason for Retention:

• Legal obligations: Certain client information is retained for 7 years to comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements.

• Contractual obligations: To maintain accurate records and provide ongoing services to clients.

• Legitimate business interests: For communication, marketing, and customer support purposes.

Card Details:

• Card details are only kept if a client opts to leave their card on file for convenience. This data is securely stored and retained for as long as the client’s relationship with Shaer Atelier exists and for a maximum of 7 years.

Data Security:

All data is stored securely and only accessible by authorised personnel.
